About Me

My journey with hypnotherapy started at a time when I needed help. I needed to break free of the negative thoughts and feelings that ate me up inside. I’d worked in management and senior leadership for many years, fully capable, yet self-doubting. With the experience of stress and then anxiety, I decided I must take control and change my unhelpful thinking and habits. I wanted to feel fulfilled again. I wanted to feel happy. I wanted to feel like I could achieve anything I set my mind to. So I did…

Through hypnotherapy, combined with my commitment and motivation to make these changes, I became ‘me’ again. Feeling happy with my confidence restored (it was always there, I just needed some help to find it again) feeling calm and in control, I decided I absolutely must help others feel this way.

Mind Pathways was born. I’ve worked as a hypnotherapist for a few years now, helping people to achieve their goals. Many with similar stories to mine. I use my creativity, intuition and experience to find new ways of thinking, helping you to look at things differently, finding solutions that work for you. My passion is to help you find what’s already within you - maybe you just haven’t recognised it yet or discovered how to apply it.

As much as I love what I do, we all need  balance with home and work. So outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends. I love to read. I always feel refreshed and invigorated after being outdoors whether that be on a camping trip in our VW camping van, or walking our adorable dog Ted.

About Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a natural relaxed state of mind. You naturally enter this hypnotic trance every day, often when you are doing something that has become second nature to you like driving along a familiar route or when you daydream. Yet you are mentally alert, aware of our surroundings, and in control. Your unconscious mind is most receptive to hypnotic suggestion in this state.

Working with the unconscious mind in this altered state of consciousness is a relaxing experience, connects your body and mind, and can facilitate physical and mental healing. Hypnotherapy can help you let go of unhelpful thinking and limiting beliefs, supporting a return to health and wellbeing. Hypnotherapy includes many techniques and approaches. Through experience, creativity and collaboration, my approach is tailored to your needs and has your best interest in mind.

Appointments & Fees

Most appointments, unless stop smoking, last an hour. You can trust that I will charge for just the sessions that you need. The majority of my clients report a positive improvement after just one session, and on average require 3-5 sessions for lasting change. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process requiring a commitment from the client with a desire for positive change. Clients cannot be hypnotised against their will, so goals can be achieved more quickly when clients are open and receptive to hypnosis.

No guarantees can be offered with any therapy, and results can vary from person to person. Whilst no guarantees can be offered with hypnotherapy, my promise to you is that I am competent, experienced and take great care in helping you to achieve your goals*
